Q. I’m here, what do I do?
A. Welcome to Providence! If you’re here before 12 noon on Friday, join us at the Nature Lab for a pre-Symposium tour. Make sure to check in and receive your registration kit at the Chace Center Lobby from 12:00 noon – 5:00 p.m. on Friday, and sign up for some workshops! See the schedule for more information.

 

Q. Is this event free to Students?
A. The symposium is free for RISD students!  For students of other universities, there is a $75 fee.

 

Q. Is lunch included during the weekend?
A. Unfortunately it is not. You can find a list of nearby food options on the event map or downtown on the Providence Guide.

 

Q. How can I be more involved in the Design Science community?
A. You can start out by registering for the symposium and participating in the lectures, workshops, and social events. You can also sign up to be a presenter or volunteer!

 

Q. Where do I park?
A. The nearest parking to the Symposium is the MetroPark lot located at 125 Canal Street in Providence.

 

Q. How do I register for the workshops?
A. Workshop registration will be at the check-in counters on Friday, April 15th and Saturday, April 16th. Since they are being held concurrently, we will request participants to sign up for a maximum of two workshops.
